Here at the FCCA, we embrace our calling as the body of Christ to be His hands and feet, serving as instruments of His love. It is our responsibility to demonstrate Christ’s compassion through our service to others. Here are a few ways our church fulfills this mission either by volunteering or supporting financially:

Circle A Servolution

The Circle A Servolution food pantry is a nonprofit organization founded with the mission to serve others and address the unmet needs within the community. Circle A emerged from a passionate group of individuals eager to demonstrate Christ’s love by supporting local families. Their aim is to make a meaningful impact by performing simple acts of kindness, thereby enriching lives and fostering a sense of community.

The Lunch Wagon

The Lunch Wagon offers free lunches to children and teenagers ages 0-18 throughout Wabash County during times when school-provided meals are unavailable. Utilizing a concession trailer, this program enables volunteers to deliver food to multiple locations, ensuring accessibility for families who may lack transportation. By operating at nine locations across the county, The Lunch Wagon effectively reaches those with the greatest needs, making a meaningful impact in the community.

The Shalom House

The Shalom House serves as a supportive home aimed at meeting the needs of children and families in foster care throughout Wabash County, IL. It provides a welcoming environment for both foster families and emergency placements, ensuring a stable and nurturing space during times of transition.

Safe Haven Homeless Shelter

Safe Haven is a 16-bed secured facility for women, and women with children, who may find themselves without a home. Safe Haven is a privately funded, Christian-based homeless shelter that leads with love and compassion. Together with the help of their wonderful staff and volunteers, they strive to help homeless women and children toward a path of independence while maintaining their dignity.

Hope Pregnancy & Resource Center

Hope Pregnancy has been compassionately serving Wabash and the surrounding counties since 2001. Their pregnancy center is a non-profit organization serving men and women who come seeking help in making decisions about their pregnancies and related concerns. They are a medical facility served by their trained medical staff and peer counselors.

Ambassador Christian Academy

Ambassador Christian Academy is located in Mount Carmel Illinois. ACA serves families with Preschool (ages 3+) & K-12 students. ACA began out of a strong conviction to provide families in the area with a Christ-centered education. With God at the center of everything true learning happens, allowing each student to know their purpose and place.
